Materials Needed:

• Candle Mold With A Completed Candle
• Releasing Agent
• Wick Screw
• Wick Bar
• Mold Sealer
• Refrigerator

Step 1: Before pouring the candle wax, lubricate the interior of the candle mold with a releasing agent.

Step 2: Allow the wax to cool fully before pouring it into your candle. The amount of time it takes for the mold to cool depends on its size.

Step 3: Remove the mold sealant from the candle mold’s top. Mold sealer is a putty-like material that you can use to close the hole in the candle mold where the candle’s wick protrudes.

Step 4: Remove the wick screw and discard it. The wick screw secures the wick’s top so that the proper length of wick remains outside the mold when the candle wax is poured.

Step 5: Remove the candle from the mold. If you let the candle cool fully, it should slip out easily, but if it doesn’t, gently pull on the wick bar to assist take the candle out of the mold. The wick bar will be near the bottom of the mold, in the open region where the wax was poured into the mold.

Step 6: If the candle does not come out of the mold, place it in the refrigerator. The candle wax will withdraw from the sides of the mold as it cools in the refrigerator.

Step 7: Remove any extra wick from the candle’s bottom.

Step 8: Your candle should now slide out easily.
